The story behind Safecare Nordic goes back to 1975, when Carsten Lebrecht founded the company, originally under the name Opti-safe.
Carsten developed Opti-safe into a business that was successful in trading with public and private companies as well as a close cooperation with the Danish Red Cross and the Danish Defense.

In addition to its own product lines, the portfolio was also based on distributor agreements with company brands within security and the environment. Both product lines and corporate brands are still in demand today by leading wholesalers in the Nordic countries.

In connection with a generational change in 2017, Søren Thulin Osback acquired all assets and rights to continue Opti-Safe. From the outset, it has been the clear desire of the South to continue the approach that also drew Carsten’s starting point over the years; to develop a business focused on quality products that can minimize the risk of accidental consequences, support a good work environment and prevent work injuries.

With Søren the story continues. We continue to sell both well-known and new quality products and meet the market’s need for a strong and flexible supplier within the area. At the same time, we want to intensify the efforts and the opportunities it can give our customers that they can help us to develop both specific products or to have existing products produced as a private label, where we make sure that quality and documentation comply with the applicable requirements. and guidelines.

Pr. On January 1, 2020, we chose to change our name to ‘Safecare Nordic’, which we think is a better match for the business area we are in.
